One Nation Continues Advocacy Effort Encouraging Senator Collins to Keep Fighting for Tax Relief and Maine Jobs

July 28, 2020

One Nation continued its advocacy effort in Maine urging Senator Susan Collins to keep fighting for tax relief and Maine jobs during the coronavirus pandemic. The new ad, “Cyndi,” features a Maine small business owner, Cyndi Robbins, who was personally called by Senator Collins to see whether the Paycheck Protection Program Collins co-authored would work for Robbins’ business. “You’re darn right it helped,” Robbins remarks in One Nation’s ad that goes live statewide in Maine today.

The script of the advertisement can be found below:

[Cyndi Robbins] I own a resort and restaurant in Poland Spring, Maine.

The Maine hospitality business has been hit enormously by COVID-19.

Susan Collins co-authored the Paycheck Protection Program which allowed me to keep all my employees employed.

Susan Collins actually called me.

She wanted to know, would this program work?

You’re darn right it helped.

[Narrator] Tell Senator Collins to keep fighting for tax relief and Maine jobs.
