Maine Businesses Need a Second Round of PPP Loans
Senator Collins’ Paycheck Protection Program has been a lifeline for over 240,000 jobs right here in Maine. Now Senator Collins is working on a second round of Paycheck Protection Program loans for small businesses to ensure no worker or employer is left behind as we work towards recovery.
Senator Collins introduced S. 4321, the Continuing Small Business Recovery and Paycheck Protection Program Act. It builds upon the small business relief programs already in place and aims to ensure that small businesses have the necessary resources to weather the COVID-19 pandemic. It would allow the most severely affected small businesses to receive a second PPP loan and would also create a new long-term recovery loan program.
Pass the Continuing Small Business Recovery And Paycheck Protection Program Act
We’re urging Senator Collins to continue working to pass the Continuing Small Business Recovery And Paycheck Protection Program Act (S. 4321) and provide local businesses that’ve been hit hardest with the additional funding they need to keep the lights on.
Real and meaningful small business relief will go a long way towards keeping our economy afloat as we work through this unprecedented crisis.
