WASHINGTON, DC — One Nation, a public policy organization dedicated to promoting commonsense legislative solutions, today announced a new advocacy effort in Maine focused on the nomination of a new justice to the U.S. Supreme Court. The $300,000 advocacy effort will run statewide on a combination of broadcast and cable television, radio and digital.
The ad, entitled “Consider,” discusses the need for objective, non-partisan consideration by the Senate of Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh, and highlights Senator Susan Collins’ thoughtful and balanced approach regarding the confirmation of Supreme Court justices.
“Senator Susan Collins has been a model of thoughtful, objective evaluation of Supreme Court nominees, regardless of party,” said One Nation President and CEO Steven Law. “We encourage her to continue that trademark approach as the Senate considers the qualifications of Judge Kavanaugh, and hope it serves as an example for her colleagues.”
