One Nation launched a new advocacy effort in Michigan calling on Senator Gary Peters to stop standing with liberal politicians to block much-needed small business relief during the pandemic, and to vote to grant tax relief to help small businesses survive. The new spot, “Praised,” is the first part of a newly-announced $4.5 million statewide ad buy in Michigan that begins today.
In launching the new ad, One Nation President Steven Law said: “Senator Gary Peters has been a partisan foot soldier for the Schumer-Pelosi blockade of emergency coronavirus relief – over and over again. It’s time for him to side with Michiganders.”
The script of the advertisement can be found below:
As coronavirus spread, Senator Gary Peters praised China’s response.
But when American small businesses needed help, Senator Peters turned his back.
Peters stood with far-left Senators Bernie Sanders and Elizabeth Warren, blocking emergency relief for American businesses.
He put party politics before Michigan jobs.
Now, small businesses need tax relief to survive this pandemic and they need Senator Peters to step up.
Tell Senator Peters: vote for tax relief for small businesses and put Michigan jobs first.
