WASHINGTON, DC — One Nation, a public policy advocacy organization dedicated to commonsense solutions, today began a 10-day television advertising campaign in Pennsylvania highlighting the school safety legislation supported by Sen. Pat Toomey and encouraging him to keep working to pass it for our children and safe schools.
One Nation’s TV ad highlights Sen. Toomey’s “Protecting Students from Sexual and Violent Predators Act,” which would require background checks for all school employees.
The ad, entitled “Personal Protection,” will air on broadcast and cable TV from 6/14 to 6/23 and is the first part of a $2.71 million advocacy campaign in June and July. It can be viewed by clicking the picture below:
“Senator Toomey has been a strong, sensible voice for security in the midst of a lot of posturing and noise. His commonsense solutions, like the school protection bill, will make us safer. One Nation is proud to work alongside Senator Toomey to pass this legislation, and we encourage Pennsylvania families to join this fight.” – Steven Law, former chief of staff to Majority Leader Mitch McConnell and president of One Nation.
