One Nation Continues Advocacy Effort Urging Senator McConnell to Keep Fighting for Kentucky Jobs

August 11, 2020

One Nation continued its advocacy effort in Kentucky, releasing two new advertisements urging Senator McConnell to keep fighting for Kentucky jobs.

“Saved” features workers from an auto body shop in Bowling Green, Kentucky, talking about Senator McConnell’s efforts to save their jobs and urging him to keep fighting for more aid.

The script for “Saved” can be found below:

[Chase Ingram] My family started this auto body shop in 2006.

We’re proud to employ 30 Kentuckians today.

When the pandemic hit, we were worried about how we were going to stay in business.

Senator McConnell led the way in providing loans to small businesses like ours.

Our PPP loan helped save our business and the livelihoods of our workers.

Senator McConnell has helped save over 50 million American jobs.

Tell him to keep fighting for our jobs.

“Backbone” features workers from a steel manufacturing plant in Ghent, Kentucky, focusing on Senator McConnell’s tough on China stance and the impact on their jobs while urging him to keep fighting to bring manufacturing jobs home.

The script for “Backbone” can be found below:

[Marissa Aldridge] At our Kentucky factory, we make the stainless steel that goes into medical devices and equipment.

When the pandemic hit, we stepped up to support our health care heroes.

Senator McConnell knows how important our jobs are.

That’s why he’s taking on China and standing up for American manufacturing.

Senator McConnell is fighting to end our dependence on China and bring critical supply lines and manufacturing jobs back to America.

Tell Senator McConnell to keep fighting for the American worker.
