Due to COVID-19, many farmers in Georgia didn’t think they would have the necessary workers to harvest their crops.
Without those workers, food would not have been able to get on store shelves, disturbing our supply chain that would ultimately put food on our family’s tables.
But Senator David Perdue made sure this wasn’t the case.
Senator Perdue, advocating for our farmers, is helping us get local food to our families.
As Co-Sponsor of The Farm to School Act, S.2026, Senator Purdue is also working get more of our local food directly to our school kids by expanding the farm to school program. Passing this legislation would help our farmers, our school kids and their families.
Urge Senator Purdue to keep fighting for Georgia farmers, our families and our kids by passing S. 2026!
