Fermin Garcia-Gutierrez is an illegal immigrant who has been to jail nearly a dozen times and deported seven times. Now, he is charged with aggravated murder after a body was found just north of Cincinnati.
Meanwhile, Senator Sherrod Brown voted ten times to protect sanctuary cities in Ohio that release dangerous, illegal immigrant criminals onto our streets to be able to commit even worse crimes.
The “Stop Dangerous Sanctuary Cities Act” would allow local law enforcement to cooperate with federal immigration authorities and would pull taxpayer-funded grants to sanctuary cities. Under this act, a sanctuary jurisdiction would be prohibited from receiving grants under certain Economic Development Assistance Programs and the Community Development Block Grant Program.
