One Nation Launches With Ad Blitz Promoting Congressional Consensus on Medicare
New group to spend nearly $2 million on radio, digital and print ads in IL, NC, NH, OH, PA and DC
WASHINGTON, DC—One Nation, a new advocacy organization that seeks to break through the partisan gridlock in Congress, launched its first ad buy today in Illinois, New Hampshire, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania and Washington, DC, totaling nearly $2 million.
The digital, radio and print ads urge continued congressional action to protect Medicare and Medicare Advantage, pointing to a recent bipartisan agreement on the so-called “doc fix” that was backed by Sens. Richard Burr (NC-R), Kelly Ayotte (R-NH), Pat Toomey (R-PA), Mark Kirk (R-IL) and Rob Portman (R-OH). The ads reference that agreement as an example of bipartisan cooperation that is needed to address the country’s most pressing concerns.
In addition to the ads, One Nation unveiled a web video highlighting the focus of the new organization, built around the theme of the national motto, E Pluribus Unum:

“With Congress under new management, One Nation will be an advocate for more constructive solutions from Congress instead of more partisan gridlock,” said Steven Law, president of One Nation. “It will take a lot of hard work to revive our stagnant economy, get our debt under control and make our country strong again. We believe Americans are unified in wanting Washington to produce results instead of pointing fingers, and One Nation seeks to be a catalyst for that kind of approach.”
One Nation is a 501(c)(4) organization that will utilize paid communications, public opinion research and grassroots-level advocacy to shape attitudes on major issues and mobilize citizens to take action by contacting and interacting with policymakers in Washington.
