Ad Highlights Senator Toomey’s Legislation to Keep Predators Out of Schools
WASHINGTON, DC — One Nation, a public policy advocacy organization that seeks to break through the partisan gridlock in Washington, has begun a 10-day, $1 million advocacy push in Pennsylvania focused on school safety legislation supported by Sen. Pat Toomey.
One Nation’s TV ad highlights Sen. Toomey’s Protecting Students from Sexual and
Violent Predators Act, which would require background checks for all school employees. The TV ad, entitled “Personal Protection,” will air on broadcast and cable TV for 10 days. It can be viewed by clicking the link below:
“For Pennsylvania families, there is nothing more important than the safety of their children,” said Steven Law, former chief of staff to Sen. Mitch McConnell and president of One Nation. “Senator Toomey’s bill would help keep them safe by preventing predators from working in schools. One Nation wants to encourage public support for these kinds of necessary and commonsense legislative efforts.”
