WASHINGTON, DC — One Nation, an issue advocacy organization dedicated to promoting commonsense legislative solutions, released a new ad that will being airing on New Hampshire broadcast and cable television today and run through 6/26.
The ad, entitled “Troopers,” highlights how taxpayer money is being used to pay for state troopers’ salaries and overtime to accompany Governor Hassan to out-of-state political events. It calls on Hassan to propose legislation to stop taxpayer dollars from being spent on politics.
“Troopers,” which can be viewed here or by clicking on the picture below, is the second ad to air as part of One Nation’s $4.6 million ad buy for June and July.
“We’ve seen a pattern of neglect of urgent state business by Governor Hassan while she’s been on the road playing politics—and charging the taxpayers for some of it,” said Steven Law, president of One Nation and former Chief of Staff to Majority Leader Mitch McConnell. “We are calling on Governor Hassan to step up and propose legislation that would stop wasting taxpayer money on politics.”
